Their philosophy of “honest materials,” allowing wood to look like wood and metal to look like metal, remains evident in their groundbreaking work, none more so than in the iconic Eames Lounge Chair.

Few objects in design history are as thoughtfully engineered. The Eames Lounge Chair brings together a complex interplay of expertly molded plywood, refined wood veneers, and cast aluminum hardware. Shock mounts work in tandem with the natural flex of the wood to create a uniquely supportive seat, enhanced further by supple, top-quality leather upholstery. The shown chair is an example of the Tall edition, a slightly updated version designed to offer full-body support for taller users. Though the difference is nearly invisible to the eye, it is unmistakable in experience, each chair provides exceptional comfort from head to toe.

We currently have a collection of four Tall Eames Lounge Chair & Ottomans available, each featuring the classic walnut shell paired with smooth leather in the color Stone, a timeless and sophisticated combination. All chairs are in very good original condition, with only minor wear consistent with age. As each piece is crafted from natural materials, subtle variations in wood tone, finish, and condition are to be expected.
